During summer 2004,
the General Assembly of the Presbyterian
Church - USA (PCUSA) adopted resolutions
troubling to supporters of Israel -
including calling for divestment of
companies doing business in Israel and
criticizing Israel's Security Fence. US
Congressmen of various faiths have published
a bipartisan letter contesting the false
conjectures of the resolutions and calling
on the PCUSA to rescind its resolutions.
